Over the last 30 years, I have found very few products that I can honestly say I rely on every day to do my job to the best of my ability. Big Bends Nut Sauce is at the top of my list. I was introduced to it when it first came out, and I've used it ever since. I use it not only at the nut of each instrument, but also on those pesky bridge saddles that can cause undo friction, wear, and string breakage. It's amazing how little nut wear actually results when you use this stuff on a regular basis. I've also used it for completely unorthodox things like sticky tuning peg gears. Works like a charm. I have several touring and studio rigs of different sizes, and Nut Sauce is in every one of them. Remember, a good Roadie will NEVER, EVER leave home without his Nut Sauce!"

Why Big Bends Nut Sauce works for me:
Keeping Devin in tune can be quite challenging since he plays in open C and B tunings with 10-52’s on regular scale guitars. Some of them even have a Bigsby, so I welcome every bit of help I can get to keep him in tune. That’s why BigBends is an essential item in my work box.
The Nut Sauce is great for Floyds too. I even use it for kick drum pedals to improve their performance and keep the springs lubricated.
I’ve been a guitar and drum tech for the last 10 years. Currently looking after Devin Townsend and Dave Young from DTP. I’m on my second year as guitar tech for the arena event Rock Meets Classic and I’ve been filling in for Scott Ian’s guy in Anthrax on all their euro shows in the last year.
The Nut Sauce is great. I even use it for kick drum pedals to improve their performance and keep the springs lubricated.
Tech for Duran Duran.
I was just introduced to Big Bends about 3 years ago while on tour with Josh Ritter, I've taken it on every gig since! I have 2 different touring rigs and one work shop, all of them are equipped with Big Bends Nut Sauce!
The Nut Sauce is great.
Tech for Alice Cooper.
Big Bends Nut Sauce - Don't do a gig without it. Big Bends helps me out of those sticky situations. Every tech should have a tube.
Kentucky native Nashville based guitar slinger gear wrangler . I've been Teching guitars now for well over a decade working among the best in the business in the country music family.
I have been slinging guitars around the world now for over a decade. There are a few number of tools I use on a daily basis on the road. Big Bends Nut Sauce is one of them. Keeps my tunes accurate and my bends true.
Bruce Pearson, guitar tech for Michael McDonald
Carl David Hardin
My name is Carl-David Hardin. Currently I work with several different bands back at home while I am off tour and two studios as the tech. I work with From Under The Willow, WaveRunner, Dogs and Day Drinkers, Stinger Studios and Andover Recording as the offical tech for the bands and studios. I work with alot of different venues and bands in the area when off the road, and Big Bends is my choice for keeping the nut and saddle slot lubed up to keep the strings moving freely.
I have worked for notable bands such as Devin Trout currently out with John Legend, Texas in July, Wolves at the Gate and Gideon. Being a certified tech from Eastern School and Taylor Guitars, I have years of experience of working in shops as a tech. One thing I have learned from all my years as a shop tech is that the nut and saddles has to be filed to fit the string properly but even then the slot is still dry and causes friction. Big bends nut sauce keeps the string and slot lubed up and allows the string to flow freely, causing less chance of string breakage and the string damaging the nut from binding. I use Big bends to lube up open gear tuners such as on Fender basses some vintage style tuners to keep the worm gears flowing smoothly and freely. Instead of using traditional 3 in 1 oil for tune-o-matics I prefer Big bends due to the more solid texture of Big bends allows me to put it exactly where I want it without the runoff and waste that traditional oil and lube has.
Big Bends Nut Sauce
I have a bunch of go-to tools while I am on the road. One of them is Big Bends Nut Sauce. Keeping a guitar nut lubricated is often overlooked with guitar maintenance. I have tried a lot of things, but Big Bends work consistently every time. My guitars just stay in tune longer.
Big Bends Nut Sauce
Owner of West Coast Guitar Works in So. Cal. and has been a touring pro for 20 years working with such notables as:
Marc Anthony, J-Lo, Weezer, Timbaland, Steel Pulse, Matisyahu, The Black Eyed Peas, Dispatch and numerous others.
The great thing about big bends nut sauce, for me, is the reduced buildup within the nut slots. Normally, when using a graphite mixture of some sorts, the buildup is plenty and discoloration of the slots are so apparent. It just looks filthy. I've tried other "lubes" and just haven't been that satisfied. Now I have tubes of Big Ben's in all of my rigs. Cleans up real nice and easy with little effort and does not require alot of my time. And on the road, that is important!

Every time Cris changes strings on a guitar he is sure to use Big Bend's Nut Sauce. Big Bend's keeps the string from getting stuck in the nut and provides that extra sense of comfort knowing that the player can play hard and get consistent results night after night. Thank you Big Bend's for reducing string breakage and for keeping guitars playing the way they should.

"Big Bends Nut Sauce ... A must have when changing strings. Been using it since 2008."
I've been playing guitar since I was 13 and always stay up to date on new gear and products to be on top of my game as a Guitar Tech. I've been using Big Bends since 2008 and haven't found anything better. I use it on every string change, on any point on the guitar where the string makes contact before the tuners, just a dab. Provides great lubrication and doesn't wear on the nut.

I am a professional touring guitar tech, amp designer/builder and I absolutely love what I do! I've been lucky enough to have worked with some amazing and very talented musicians/bands over the past 15 years including: Fleetwood Mac, Slipknot, Deftones, Stevie Nicks, Evanescence, Faith No More, Lamb of God, The Used, Rise Against and many more.
I have a full service instrument repair shop in Arizona and have had thousands of satisfied customers over the years. If you have any stringed instrument or amplifier that needs to be repaired, restored or just given some extra love, I can definitely do the job for you and I will do it right the first time!
Big Bends Nut Sauce works great with all the different instruments I have to take care of. Acoustics, electrics, baritones, 8-strings, etc. This is definitely a great product to help strings not get stuck in the nut slots especially when having to re-tune guitars throughout the show. I have used virtually all of the instrument lubricants out there and the BBNS always works the best, especially under the extreme conditions of touring!
Twitter - Foppstartech
BBNS is a problem solver. I love it because it's easy to use and it just works. It's not just for nuts either. It works great on bridges and zero frets... I've even used it on a creaky strap lock for a mandolin. It's an indispensable tool in my kit.
Tech for NEEDTOBREETH.
Currently out with Jonas Brothers. In the past been with 3 Doors Down, Plain White T's, Motion City Soundtrack, Panic! At The Disco, Say Anything & Hanson.
The nut sauce is great because it is like the main ingredient to a nice string change. A definite must have for any tech bench.
My name is George Turkette from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I have been guitar teching for 2 years and touring for 4 years. I first started playing guitar when i was 14 years old, taking lessons weekly. My dad bought me my first guitar, a Fender Stratocaster. Then one day my dad came home with a Les Paul Standard Plus. After half a year I put down the guitar until I started touring, when I was 17.
The first small club tour I did was the MTVu Summer Tour with Boys Like Girls, NeverShoutNever, and The Ready Set. 6 Months later the band did its first bus tour. In February of 2011 I guitar teched for The Ready Sets first headlining tour. The tour played sold out clubs in a full US tour. In April of 2010 I switched to Stage Manage for The Downtown Fiction on their first headlining two week East Coast tour. The next month I switched to my most recent gig, Allstar Weekend.
In May of 2011 I did a two week Canadian Tour with Allstar Weekend and after that we flew to Hawaii and played a show there. After many fly dates, we started the We Own The Night Tour with Selena Gomez & The Scene. This was two month tour across the US selling out amphitheaters, theaters, and small arenas.

Professional guitar tech currently touring with Tim McGraw. Previously with Grace Potter & the Nocturnals. Also a custom rig builder located in Nashville, TN.
I’ve used and loved Nut Sauce for years. It reduces string breakage and helps keep all my guitars in tune under varying temperature and humidity conditions. On tremolo bridges, I also use it on bridge saddles to be sure the guitar returns to pitch consistently. I have tubes in all my workboxes and in my home shop.
Josh "Bobo" Tejchma
I use Big Bends Nut Sauce every time I change strings. A dab on the bridge saddle and at the nut.
I've used other products in the past, nothing compares to the tuning stability and prevents string breakage like Big Bends! Tech for Theory of a Deadman.
I use Big Bends Nut Sauce every time I change strings.
Teched for Primus, Ani Difranco, Bebel Gilberto, Siouxie Sioux and others.
Based out of the Warfield and Fillmore in San Francisco when not on the road.
I use Big Bends Nut Suace on every guitar or bass I tech.
As the bass tech for Black Stone Cherry, I only rely on Big Bends Nut Sauce to properly lube all saddles, and nuts on the basses. Ease of use and balanced formula maximizes protection from premature wear and tear!
Big Bends Nut Suace
I have been touring professionally since 2005. I've worked for Neon
Trees, Paramore, Celtic Thunder, One Republic, New Kids On The
Block, Taking Back Sunday, Relient K, A Day To Remember, The Devil
Wears Prada, Underoath, The Almost, Anberlin, Say Anything and
Copeland. This is my dream job and I would not want to be doing
anything different. In 2008, I attended Galloup School of Lutherie
in Big Rapids, Michigan.
I use Big Bend's on every guitar or bass every time I change
strings. With Big Bend's the guitars tune smoothly, stay in tune
and strings last longer. Big Bend's is especially helpful with
preventing string breakage at the saddle and bridge.
I use Big Bends Nut Sauce on every guitar during string changes. I make sure to use it on all the pivot points to ensure that there is no slippage during tuning. Get yourself a tube of Big Bends and leave your pencils at home.
Big Bends Nut Sauce
I've been a touring guitar tech for the last ten years or so. I've also got a repair business in San Francisco where I live. It's pretty awesome to be able to cruise around the world working with great artists on great instruments and then come home and continue to do so. I'm currently out with Coheed and Cambria. I've been touring with these guys since 2007. I've also been fortunate enough to work with Jewel, Sparta, the Donnas, Against Me!, Portugal the Man, Sleepercar, Crosses, and Hole.
I use Big Bends on all guitars, regardless of whether or not they have a trem system (in which case I use even more!). The majority of tuning issues derive from the friction points on the instrument so keeping those generously lubricated immediately improves stability and playability. It's as simple as that.
I use Big Bends Nut Suace..
Nut Sauce for smooth playing with no hang ups.
My name is Larry Melero. i'm a freelance touring Instrument/Amplifier Technician. I've been touring for 17 years. I have been playing guitar for 32 years. My current client is Cheap Trick/Sum 41. Previous clients include: George Benson, SUM41, Incubus, Gwen Stefani (solo tours), and many more.
Being able to cover everything from strings to speakers has always been a benchmark for me. I pride myself on being able to perform any repair, from a pickup swap to repairing and/or modifying a tube amplifier. Since i also play guitar, i can offer the artist advice on their gear so they can achieve any tone they're looking for. I've also been fortunate enough to "pinch play" for guitarists and bassists when they've been unable to play due to injury or other situations.
I feel that this level of work allows the artist to concentrate on their playing and the show without giving a single thought to: "is my rig going to work? is it going to sound good? will my guitar be in tune? etc. etc.
I use Big Bends nut sauce on all the instruments i work on. I love the stuff. It makes tuning and maintaining an instrument in tune so much easier.
George Benson's Ibanez GB10 is strung up with D'Addario Chromes(flatwound)strings (13-56) in standard tuning. It also has a 1/2 brass-1/2 bone nut and a floating rosewood bridge. He plays that 1 guitar for the whole show. I've put in on my tuner at the end of the night just to check the tuning. It's always spot on after a 2 hour set. Big Bends nut sauce plays a part in that.

The Big Bends Nut Sauce works great and last longer than any others we have used, and doing as many shows as we do, we go through a lot and it never lets us down!!!!!!!!!!!

"I use Big Bends Nut Sauce every string change on all the guitars in the vault.
It helps keep the strings from binding at the nut, helps keep the guitars in tune even after heavy bending and slide playing.
I also use it to lubricate metal parts like tuners, and have used it on bridge saddles as well. Its the best!"

Big bends make my show a lot easier, you lose all the friction on the bridge and nut, making tuning a lot smoother and accurate.

My name is Pat Ryan, I am currently on the road as guitar tech for the Dead Daisies, featuring lead guitarist Richard Fortus (Guns n' Roses, Thin Lizzy, Psychadelic Furs, Rihanna) and bassist Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Ted Nugent, Lynch Mob, Soul Sirkus) on the 2013 Uproar festival. When not on the road I also own and operate Ryan Guitar Repair in my hometown of St. Louis Mo.
I have been playing guitar for 30 years, & teching for other guitarists for the last 20 years. I toured with Little River Band (Stephen Housden / Wayne Nelson) from 1999 -2009 as their guitar tech, and played guitar for them from 2000 - 2006. I also worked with the bands Puddle of Mudd (Paul Phillips, Adam Latiff), Blue October (Justin Furstenfeld, Matt Noveskey, C.B. Hudson), and The Urge (Jerry Jost, Karl Grable).
As a tech I strive to bring my own experience and insight as a player to enhance and exceed the expectations of whatever artist I'm working with. At the end of the day I don't want them to have to think about anything but feeling free to create art on their instrument. On any given tour I handle anywhere from 5-15 instruments of all varieties, and various string gauges.
I discovered Big Bends Nut Sauce many years ago on my first tour. Prior to that I was using graphite, china markers, pencils etc. to lube nut slots but it never really did what I wanted, and ultimately made a huge mess. After using Big Bends on my own guitars I saw the increased tuning stability, and improved string life.
Whether I’m working on a guitar for a touring platinum selling artist, or a kid just starting out, I always use Nut Sauce for increased tuning stability, improved string life, and spot on intonation. I never leave home without it!
Big Bends nut sauce helps me get my guitarist in tune and stay in
tune even during their Big Bends!

I wouldn't just say I recommend it, it is absolutely paramount for all players, especially those who really dig in and bend a lot. Gojira being a prime example. It's a big help with the heavier gauge strings and I use it on all types of nuts, saddles, Floyd rose pivot points etc... Haven't had a broken string during a show in over 2 years now. Killer product!
Ted Tetris Morgan
Taking to the road in the mid 90's, Ted "Tetris" Morgan has performed all manners of duties from TM/PM to FOH to Guitar tech for clients such as Michael Bublé, Janet Jackson, Everclear, Escape the Fate, Third Day, Chris Tomlin, Switchfoot & All Star United as well as worked for companies such as Clair Global, 8th Day, Rat Sound & Show Co. You'll usually find him at his tech station or FOH with his bottle of Jack Daniels, feel free to say "Hi" and join him for a shot!
"It's the secret ingredient in my tech case! Big Bends is a key part of the maintenance of the 16 guitars I maintain and can't imagine not having it in my tech kit! Good strings are only part of the equation, the rest of it is all in the sauce... It's such a tiny tube that packs a powerful punch, a must have for any guitar tech! Have yet to find another product like it!"
Ted "Tetris" Morgan | The Lacs
Here I'm lubing up Danyell Morgan's signature Bass Mods 5 Strings. Danyell lays down the funky groves as a member of Robert Randolph & The Family Band. As you know I'm a northern Michigan guy who used to own The Great Lakes Guitar Company. My brother is a logger up there. I'm able to obtain the highest quality of maple for my own custom builds and am now beginning to supply other luthiers with prime cuts. I have an industrial guitar shop just north of Nashville. Where I spend my time when I'm not out currently tech'ing for Robert Randolph & The Family Band. My tour history includes Kenny Olson (Kid Rock), Rick Vito (Mick Fleetwood), Keb Mo', Smash Mouth, Saving Abel, and countless other pros who I'm fortunate enough to work with ... both on the road and in my shop. The list of clients who I have built, rebuilt, customized, or restored guitars for is so huge that it blows my mind that I can have so many people's guitars flow across my benches.
Big Bends nut sauce keeps 'em good and slippery!
After all the years that I've worked on guitars, either on the road, or in the shop, I've come to know that the smallest details can cause the biggest problems sometimes. After all, when it comes down to it a guitar that won't stay in tune is a useless instrument. It doesn't matter if the neck is cracked, or the strings bind at the nut. If it doesn't stay in tune, it's not worth picking up. That's the way an artist looks at it. We have all tried every trick that has come down the pipe to make guitars stay in tune better, but so far Big Bends seems to be the best answer yet. I just finished a tour with The Cult, and I have to say that keeping Billy Duffy's guitars in tune is a real challenge. He has a style of playing that will pull a guitar out of tune in a second if it's not prepared properly. It seems that I'm stretching strings forever to maintain proper tune, but it's worth it! Billy plays several Les Pauls, which are all incredible sounding guitars, an two Gretsch Billy Duffy Signature models that are truly amazing instruments! And yes, they have Bigsby tremolos! Imagine the time you'd have with a guitar like that if there was no magic trick like Big Bends to help you out. Now I can't say that it's ALL Big Bends, or there wouldn't be a need for me, but I wouldn't want to have to make these things right for Billy without it!!! We played a show in Austin this past summer and a renown tech for a benchmark artist was there with some friends. After the show, the topic of greatest discussion was the Gretsch. Everyone was amazed by the sound of it, but what seemed to be more amazing was that it kept tune without fault, "and he USED the tremolo!?! How did you get it to stay in tune???" Big Bends, of course!!! I know when something works, and there's no question that Big Bends is that something! Thank you Big Bends, and thank you David Leinhardt for turning me on to such a great product!!!!
Big Bends nut sauce!

Alanis Morissette, Bob Seger, Morrissey, Goo Goo Dolls, Adam Lambert, Avril Lavigne, Beck, Indigo Girls, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Sheryl Crow, Shawn Mullins, Matthew Sweet, Blind Melon, Smashing Pumpkins...
Artists I've worked for: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Group Love, Survivor(Yes Eye of the Tiger), Jonny Lang, Mastodon, Evanscense, Blondie, Megadeth, Cold, Fuel, Clutch, Scissorfight, Extreme, Dope, The Deadlights, Drain sth, Pushmonkey, Godsmack, Nsync, Heavy Metal Horns, Orangututang, Meatloaf, The Tubes, 247-Spyz
The applicator is the best part. I can control where it goes and really get it in there. It makes the string slide threw the nut effortlessly. No binding in the nut. Even when it's a tight fit. Big Bend's rocks.
Hmmm, a bit of a bio about myself..... A verging-on-obsessive fascination with and love of guitars led to me tinkering with my personal gear, while playing in a variety of local bands. Doing a backline gig as a favour to a friend, in the late 90s has led to me having a career as a backline tech for over a decade.
Over the past 12 years, I've been fortunate enough to work for some diverse and fantastic groups and musicians , such as Anthrax, King Diamond, and Nevermore to Black Eyed Peas. Currently in my 9th year with thrash metal pioneers Megadeth, I look forward to my next decade on the road.
"I love Big Bends! I don't know how they're making this, all I know is it WORKS and I wish I had it a long time ago! From de-squeaking a kick drum pedal or noisy strap button to ensuring smooth, kink-free tuning on any and every guitar, it's an invaluable asset to any tech or musician. Everything I work on - a student's Strat copy to Bigsby-equipped PRS beauties -- get's a little dose of The Sauce."
My name is Wookie, and I have been involved with many different facets of production, whether touring theatre or live music, corporate events, or even live television, since 1990. I have been playing guitar for over 25 years. I pride myself in being able to keeping an artists guitars just the way they want them, or, at times, improving on the feel of the instrument, much to their liking! Being a player I have also been able to offer suggestions that have improved on some artists' tones, and at times, have been able to step in for a soundcheck or two with the band in the event that the artist couldn't be there, for whatever reason.
I have worked with many artists, such as Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, Devin Townsend, Tommy Girvin of Eddie Money, but I have spent the most time with Mike Mushok, of Staind, and now also with Newsted.
Mike has a huge arsenal of signature baritone guitars with Paul Reed Smith, and with string gauges from 11-74, sometimes tuning that low B to an F, things can get sticky. Big Bends helps strings get to the tuning easily and stay there! On the last Staind album, Mike had PRS custom build him two seven-string baritones, and recently he just received a third one, and, again, Big Bends helps get to where they need to be and stay there. Also, because of Mike's aggressive stage antics, I am so happy to get a guitar back, put it on the tuner, and it's still sitting right in the middle of my Peterson!
Big Bends does what it says it will do, and nothing more. You can't ask for more than that.
"I use TonePros, RS Guitarworks upgrade kits, Gerlitz Smudge-Off and Guitar Honey, and, of course, Big Bends!"
